Help Sustain Access to Essential Cancer Medicines
Following the generous response to our Essential Medicine Donation campaign launched in September 2025, Help Apeksha is continuing this important initiative to support patients receiving treatment at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.
Your contributions help the hospital respond to temporary shortages of essential cancer medicines and support patients in continuing their treatment without unnecessary delays.
Why Your Support Matters
Although treatment and hospital services are provided free of charge, temporary medicine shortages can occur due to procurement and supply constraints.
Funds raised through this initiative help the Hospital Development Committee purchase urgently required medicines based on current hospital needs.
To ensure donations are used responsibly, medicines are procured through:
- Bulk purchasing to benefit more patients
- Clinical prioritisation based on urgent requirements
- Transparent documentation and oversight
The Hospital Development Committee has approved a drug purchasing policy, which dictates that medications are procured in bulk to benefit multiple patients Policy on purchasing medicines for NCISL through the Hospital Development committee
We are committed to continuing this initiative and welcoming ongoing donations to ensure no patient is left without access to essential cancer medication. Every contribution helps sustain this life-saving mission.
Every Contribution Makes a Difference
Access to the right medicine at the right time can make a significant difference for someone undergoing cancer treatment.
Your donation can help protect continuity of care and ensure essential medicines remain available to patients when they need them most.
Donate today and help us continue supporting cancer patients at Apeksha Hospital.
