Donation of medicines February 2026
In response to the hospital’s formal request for support, the Development Committee provided the following essential medications during the month of February 2026. The combined Value of these medicines amounts to SLR 2.6 million, demonstrating the committee’s substantial contribution towards patient care:
1. Ondansetron 8mg injections – used to prevent nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing chemotherapy.
2. Oxaliplatin 100mg injections – a critical chemotherapy drug used in the treatment of various cancers.
3. Folinic acid 50mg injections – administered in combination with chemotherapy to enhance its effectiveness and reduce side effects.
The Development Committee continues to uphold its commitment to promptly supply urgently needed medicines to the hospital, ensuring that patients receive improved oncology care and access to life-saving treatments.
