1,500 Vials of Filgrastim Donated to Apeksha Hospital
On 23 September 2026, Mr. Sudath Weerakoon, a member of the Hospital Development Committee, facilitated the donation of 1,500 vials of Filgrastim 300 mcg to Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.
The financial contribution for this important donation was provided by Lanka Ashok Leyland PLC, supporting the hospital’s ongoing efforts to ensure access to essential medicines for cancer patients.
Filgrastim is an important supportive medicine used in the care of patients undergoing certain cancer treatments. This donation will help strengthen the hospital’s medicine supply and support continuity of care for patients who depend on timely access to essential treatment.
