Wesak Lantern Competition and Children’s Art Exhibition – July 2024

In collaboration with the Buddhist Society of the hospital, a competition was organized among various units to create the best Wesak Lantern. The raw materials for the lanterns were provided by the hospital committee, while the frames of the “Atapattam” lanterns were crafted by inmates of Welikada Prison under the guidance of Mr. C. Pallewattha, a hospital committee member. Additionally, the Children’s Art Exhibition was sponsored by the Lions Club of Moratuwa Rathmalana. Pictures are attached.
