In November 2024, the Development Committee of the National Cancer Institute donated Rs. 2.8 million worth of essential drugs to Apeksha Hospital. This initiative was part of their continued commitment to supporting healthcare and ensuring critical medication reaches those in need. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this possible.
In collaboration with the Buddhist Society of the hospital, a competition was organized among various units to create the best Wesak Lantern.
The handing back of repaired hospital items was conducted by Mr. Sugath Weerakoon, General Manager of Lanka Ashok Leyland Company and Hospital Committee member. All repair expenses were borne by Lanka Ashok Leyland Company. Additionally, Mr. Sugath Weerakoon personally donated fluorescent light bulbs, which were handed over to the Hospital Director.

The New Year Tea Party, sponsored by members of the Hospital Committee for staff members of NCISL, was held on 19th April 2024.
